What does “Immigration Reform” mean to the United States of America?

What does “Immigration Reform” mean to the United States of America?

All we know is that Unemployment is very high!

15% to 30% or more, realistically!

The true unemployment figures should include the people that no longer receive unemployment benefits, all the independent contractors / workers never counted in the unemployment stats and all the people that have never landed a real job because none are available.

11 million “Illegal Aliens” have no problems finding a job!

There appears to be jobs here in the United States waiting for these “Illegal Aliens” to be smuggled across our borders to fill them.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio appears to be one of the very few left in the United States that believes in enforcing the laws to protect America and its’ honest legitimate workers!

Before Reagan the “Great Union Buster” and creator of “Trickle Down Economics”, Americans made respectable wages.

The reduced taxes were supposed to create new jobs and it did in China, India, South America and anywhere cheap labor could be found.

When I look back before Reagan, I see Americans making an honest days pay for an honest days work. Americans were well trained and productive.

Now that the Unions lost their power, hard working Americans are making less because Greedy Companies no longer have to treat hard working Americans fairly or pay out a fair share of the Company profits. Americans that are the “Heart and Soul” of the Company and made it what it is today.

The United States Government stood idle as Greedy Companies decided that the “Hard Working Americans” no longer deserved to be employed because cheaper labor products were available outside the United States.

No Loyalty to the American Worker!!!

What other Country in the World would buy from another Country what could be manufactured in its’ own Country???

We are still “Proud Owners” of 10,000 shares of LTV Steels’ stock because we, unlike the United States Government cared and still care about America. Why did the United States Government allow all American Owned Steel Producing Plants to close???

We watched a Town Hall Meeting in California where a College Student stated his parents were from Mexico and owned their own company in California. He further stated that his parents could not afford to hire employees at the California minimum wage of $8.00 per hour and wanted to know when “Immigration Reform” would be passed.

This scares us because it implies that “Immigration Reform” will circumvent the Federal and State minimum wage laws allowing Companies to hire at less than minimum wage.

We also heard statements on the Today Show that these “Migrant Workers” are young and hard working and do not need medical care.

We are not against “Migrant Workers” as long as they are paid a fair livable wage for the United States of America and not for the Country they came from. They should be paid, at least the State Minimum Wage with Social Security Taxes and other taxes just like a Citizen of the United States would.

We want the United States Government to start protecting Americans.

To approve the employment of “Migrant Workers” at a “SLAVE LABOR” rate of pay in the United States will take the food from the table of Good Americans striving to keep a roof over their heads. Americans need work but Americans need a fair wage to survive.

President Abe Lincoln worked hard to “Free the Slaves”. We ask President Obama not to recreate what President Abe Lincoln fought to abolish.

We want to thank and support Sheriff Joe Arpaio for helping to maintain a fair standard of living here in America.

Americans that are not rich or famous may never experience the dream of being treated with the care, respect and dignity they deserve as Americans.

“Miracle Man Story” is about Reality for many in America.

May God Bless America and Keep “SLAVE LABOR” from becoming a Reality,

  1. "President Abe Lincoln worked hard to “Free the Slaves”..."

Lincoln cared nothing for the plight of slaves, he was concerned only about the cheap yet efficient production they represented in the South. Take out the slaves and the South would fall.

Still I see something of what you say of Obama. Of course you might consider that Obama is simply the voice of the unseen shadow power who raised him up. Obama likely has no real power of his own, no long-standing personal agenda except to be on the side of the "winners". He will do as he is told.

  3. I don't believe it is President Obama's intent to in any way re-create slave labor here in America. On the contrary, he has been, and is, working hard to re-instill the checks and balances systems which formerly existed to prohibit the graft of large corporate employers who were given carte blanche by prior administrations to out-source their labor needs. The immigration issue has long existed as a result of the continued neglect of those same former administrations, the last of which having been concerned with war efforts and giving tax breaks to the very rich, both individuals and corporate entities which have not trickled down as formerly predicted. Currently, as a result of so much prior mis-management, we are now witnessing the erosion and potential elimination of the middle class which began when President Reagan's eliminated union labor. Years ago, when Bethlehem Steel closed and later when it was allowed to discontinue paying retirement compensation to its workers, some realized that we had taken the wrong path. Your point is indeed well-taken concerning the steel production which is no longer a major industry here in the U.S. and I agree that it was one of the principal industries that we could not afford to lose. I can understand the impatience and desperation of many hard-working Americans, given the current economy, who see illegal immigrants further eroding wages by working beneath the minimum mandated, but this issue didn't occur over night and it will take time to resolve. Multiple factors and variables exist within this equation which cannot be about-faced instantly; also, the changes required will certainly face opposition from the Company Owners who profit at the expense of American Labor. When power was extracted from the Federal Gov't and given to the states years ago, that act had far-reaching consequences which we are now realizing by way of results. While I am for eliminating useless Federal Gov't spending to maintain unoccupied buildings which do not produce revenue, I do not think that the elimination of the protective agencies who policed banking, Wall Street and other Financial Institutions were in our best interest. That act enabled Corporate Graft at the expense of eliminating the American Labor Force. We all saw how large self-serving banking and financial companies stole money which had been earmarked for struggling Americans in the stimulus package. We've also seen republican senators block unemployment compensation twice during a tough economy. Illegal workers are a part of the problem which needs correction, but there are other equally important basic issues (exporting more than we import) from which we cannot be distracted and which require redress if the American Labor Force and middle class citizenry is to be resurrected...
